Cheryl seemed like an absolutely amazing woman even to a complete stranger like me. It's so hard to maintain such a high level of positivity and light when battling an awful disease like cancer. I'm sure her grace and optimism has (and will) touch many lives. Wishing you and your family nothing but peace.

Love and hugs,
Jess

Cheryl, I'm certain, will continue to live on through the many lives of family and friends she touched throughout her own life. I wanted to send my thoughts and love to your family--I've lost too many loved ones to cancer and know that this is probably a time of great sadness, but also relief that Cheryl can now be at peace. I hope, too, that soon your family finds peace in the wonderful memories of Cheryl and her mark she left on this world. Much love and beautiful thoughts sent your way-- Darby

I wanted to share this letter that was read at a recent memorial I attended. I am hoping it will bring Cheryl's family comfort:

"To all those that I love and who love me,

I am so grateful fo the love and friendship that you have extended to me throughout my life. Now I am going on my next adventure where you cannot follow me. For a short time you will experience the loss of my physical form and you may be sad, but your faith will bring you comfort and solace.

Life goes on, and contrary to appearance I am not far. If you need me, call me and I'll be with you. Even through you might not see me or touch me, I'll be here. If you listen to your heart you will know the sweetness of my love for you.

When it will be your time to go, I'll be there to welcome you. Until then, know that I am always present in your hear and you in mine."

We met Cheryl on a chance trip to Hawaii one January and immediately connected. We were fortunate to meet with Cheryl on numerous occasions in Hawaii, Vancouver and Shawnigan Lake. Cheryl was an honest, loving, giving, intelligent, fun and inspirational lady. We are so lucky to have shared so many wonderful experiences with her. Gone but never forgotten! Our condolences go out to her family.
